I have a rain leak on top of the bulkhead on the port side of the boat. I checked the hand rail that is on the deck above this point and it does not seem to be coming from there. I checked the port in the head just forward of the bulkhead on water there. I looked up the mast from inside the boat and did not see any water on the inside of the mast. I guess it could come in the mast boot and travel down the top of the bulkhead? it shows itself right at the port side top curve of the bulkhead. any ideas???????????????? Thanks KRQ SeaQuinns

Have you checked the chainplates,
especially the mains? These have to be regularily checked and re-caulked.

That was the first thing that I did. I had the six shroud plates removed and recaulked. That sealed the chian plates but did not change this leak.

Boot space
as I look at the mast boot there is a space or hole where the luff groove of the mast passes through the boot. What keeps water from going through that hole???????????
