Everytime I come to the boat after a storm, I find water on the cabin floor. I think I have narrowed down the general location of the link, but am not 100% sure where it is coming from. Water appears to be draining along the forward wall of the head (on cabin side, not inside head). The cushion to the seat and the fiberglass and wood (passage to the under seat storage) were both wet. Anyone have an idea where the water would be coming from?

Possible Sources

Darren, A couple of thoughts you might explore. One, do a search in the forum archives on "Leak" for both the H260 and for all Hunters. I have found this to be a wealth of info. Second, I recently saw a post regarding a mysterious leak which was sourced to the line wells in the cockpit. Does your H260 have line wells and have you checked them? Kevin

From the hatch I'll bet.

Check the archives as recent as my post last week.

leaks

Hello, We have had several leaks on the 29.5. Check window seals, overheard cowl vents, they seem to pull water in, chain plates, through an access panel, and your wrap around windows, and even your companion way windows. Have someone down below, and run a hose around all suspected areas. If there is not alot of water, under a cup maybe, probably a reasonable explanation, but if there is alot more, you may want to investigate in thoroughly. Ours was several from above, but we fixed them with a screw driver and by removing the cowl vent with a solar vent. good luck Bryan

Leak followup...

I returned to the boat yesterday to find that the leak had increased in volume... the holly / cherry wood on the floor is now partially detached from the boat and appears to warping a bit. It squishes out water every time you step on it. I think that the water is coming from deck hardware and is getting BETWEEN the fiberglass head wall and the wood wall... but service department will let me know for sure today... *sigh* Good thing it's a new boat under warranty.
