Leak....please help

I get a significant leak down the starboard side wall in my aft cabin ONLY after healing on a day sail............I think the water is collecting in my overhead liner in the aft cabin.....can anyone suggest WHERE the leak is origninating that is bringing water up there, and down the side????? thanks....i need help. David

or other deck hardware? These need to be pulled and rebedded from time-to-time....... Sounds like this is rainwater, that collects somewhere until you heel, and then if runs down inside the cabin.

it is definitely rain water......but how is it getting into the liner above the aft cabin?

Check your portlights

David We had some persistent leaks in our Hunter 27 and it turned out to be the portlights were leaking and it was draining to the lower locker areas by running between the hull and liner. We replaced the portlights and resealed them, and no more leaks! Might be worth a look? Take care, Ron Vanderveer
