leak in the cabin top

I have a H 25.5 with the pop top. I have noticed that I have a leak
in the cabin top on the portside. I have replaced the wooden tracks ( ? )
with an AZEK product ( approx 1 1/2 X 3/4 ). This molding on the outside keeps the sliding hatch in place. Someone has tried to repair this from the inside but it has not worked. What can I do??

On My 1984 25.5 I replaced the wood tracks with marine wood from Tap Plastics. No maintenance is needed. The original screws were wood screws. I replaced them with Number 8 machine screws and on the bottom I fastened it with a nut. Before inserting the screw use 3M 4200 sealant to keep the water out. Of course you must drill larger holes. It is safer that way too.
