Good news, my H260 survived Isabel without a scratch. However, I have had a leak in the bow on the starbord side for awhile. This let in a fair amount of water in the storm. I believe it may be coming from the anchor locker drain. I tightened the nylon drain piece by about 1 turn. I am not sure if this is the solution or not. Has anyone had this problem and was this the solution?

Check the filler pipe for the fresh water.

It may be a long shot but I had a leak at the bow and found that the filler pipe for the fresh water tank had a hole in fact two holes in it. Every time I filled the fresh water tank I also filled the bow section!! Most other reports of leaks in the bow of the 260 are from the anchor drain. Easy to fix.

Leaky bow

My experience with a leaky bow was this: first time filling the fresh water holding tank took what seemed a very long time to fill 20 gallons with a garden hose. When the auto bilge pump began running, I got really worried and, upon entering the cabin found water everywhere. Turned out the filler line had not been connected to the filler fitting at the factory. I bailed and sponged water from the settees and sole for the rest of the day and my dealer came out, connected the line, and paid for the dry cleaning of all the cushion fabric covers. One More Place to Check

If it is setup the same way as it is on my 23.5. The Ubolt that is used to raise the mast or to secure the anchor line in the anchor well had no sealant and very large holes. I replaced it with a well gaulked padeye and backing plate. That has kept mine dry.

Bow Leak

I remember reading where someone found the problem was associated with the hole the latch bolt slides into. Might be worth a look or shot of caulk.

Yes Bob

That is one other area that I sealed up just to make sure. Good point!
