Leak in Aft Cabin

After launching my 1999 340 this weekend (my 2nd season in this boat), I pulled all the aft cabin matresses out to air them after winter storage. Checking around I found the port side liner, immediately below the window was damp - checking further I pulled out the liner from the bottom up about a foot, and there was water laying in the underlying "fold" where a seam in the fiberglass mates to inner floor to the hull. This seems to be immediately below the arch (fiberglass) - which has lots of chalking around the base - suggesting that someone has tried to cure the problem before. Reading the archives, everybody suggests tightening the bolts, cleaning up the area and re-chalking. How do I get to the bolts?? Can anybody offer some advice please. AND any advice on the chalking - just the outside, where the arch meets the deck, or is there some internal chalking that's required? Should I take the speakers out and use the smallest pair of hands available to get inside?? Can water leak into the arch and then down through the inside somehow?? There's a small hole on the outside rear quarter of the arch - is this a drainage hole to allow water to drain out the inside of the arch?? If so, it's sealed up on my boat.
