When it is raining there is water coming from the inside of the mast ruining the adjacent floor board and the cabinets around. What to do to channel the water somewhere else?

On my previous boat a B 381 (keel stepped), there was a weep hole that allowed the water to seep into the bilge. There was even a slight channel in the hull liner to further the water flow However, sometimes there would be debris that prevented water flow. I routinely used a coat hanger (for shirts) to open up the weep hole. The only time this didn't work is when the boat was on the hard and they that the boat slightly bow up vs level as the drainage was forward.
