A squall passed through yesterday and we were able to spot several more leaks on
our new-to-us Beneteau 411. In this case, the leaks were at the joint between
deck and hull. We called Beneteau and they said to remove excess sealant and
neoprene, clean, and apply 3M 5200. We're wondering if this solution is good or
possibly if others have found a better solution. Note: on our Beneteau 411 a
teak cap rail is screwed down to the deck/hull joint with ends of screws showing
on inside.
