Could anyone give me information on how to/Where to purchase parts to lead lines Aft. on our C22/Pop top? Is a winch necessary or just using halyard stoppers OK? Should they both be led to one side or one to each side? Thanks for your help.

You'll probably be happy having the lines led aft. Winches will probably be necessary but you could always try it the "cheap" way first & if it doesn't work, then go buy them. You won't need big ones & you could probably find them used at a very good price at a used marine store. If there are no used marine stores near you, try Admiralty Marine online. They have a great supply of used stuff & you can order over the phone (I don't think they're set up for online orders). You might want to go to the library & check out some books on upgrading your boat. At least one of them should have directions on leading lines aft that might be of help. Have fun! LaDonna

Thank you for your responses. I have not decided which way to go and am may not get a winch right away-try it and see how well it works with out it. But I really found Tedsailingpage very enlightening and have refered a couple of friends there... Wishing all nice breezes!!!
