Sailcare version
SAILCARE makes a version that seems to work well called SailCradle. I installed it myself with the mast down by installing the supplied hardware on the mast and boom. It does not require modification to the main sail or its cover. Although I do not have anything to compare it to because it is my first device of this type, it does allow the orderly raising and lowering of the sail when that is required. CVP
