We would like to install an easy to operate lazy jack set up that can be deployed from the cockpit. Any recommendations for a 272LE? Does anyone use a system called "E-Z JAX" ? All input will be greatly appreciated. Tnx, jb
I just installed a "Sail Cradle" that I got from Sail Care on my 272. The rigger who installed it liked the way it was constructed and thought it better than the Harken and Schaffer models. Have yet to use it as I am just getting the boat in the water. Cost was $115, you can reach Sail Care at 800-433-7245 to get more info. Good luck, Frank
Thanks for the update Frank. I had used those on our last boat. We liked them, but thought it would be nice to have the option of deploying them from the cockpit, which they were not designed to do. But I do agree, they seemed more practical than the Harken set, which required sail cover modifications, etc., etc. And the cost is easier on the pocket too. Good luck with yours... Jerry B.
