I have the Lazy Bag and like it. The supporting lines go through blocks up near the spreaders and come back down to head height to fasten on two cleats, both on the starboard side of the mast. When I raise the sail I loosen them to limit the interference with the mainsail shape. After raising the mainsail and loosening the lazy bag supports I also loosen the topping lift. After dropping the main I readjust all of those lines to level the boom. Works for me.

Thank you jssailem for the welcome. I see a few posts on the subject by Mr Watson but no design details. What is the connecton between he and Mr Meisch?
There is no connection between Mr. Watson and Meisch. Skip Meisch showed up on the sail trim forum (seems like 100 years ago!!) and showed me his design, which I used. Then he dropped out of sight and I never heard from him again despite numerous attempt on my part to contact him.
