Lazy jacks
Les, not knowing the exact date your boat was built, there were three mast manufacturers involved until Dwyer was chosen. I know the Z spar provided a long cotter pin to stop the slides from coming out. The current or Dwyer does provide a sail slide stop so the sail slides do not come out. If you do ot have one, buy one as Makr Kissel suggests. As for lazy jacks, I have spoken on this issue allot but to be brief on the 260, they are a waste of my time as they get into the way. Granted the sail will flop over the boom (by the way, I was boomed in the head and I wonder if I lost any brain cells) but it is small and experience tells me they simply get in the way. If you are having trouble folding the sail, ask anexperienced sailor how to flake a mainsail on the boomCrazy DAve
