I recently purchased a 1987 Hunter 31'. We absolutely love her. I want to replace several items this winter. One of those being the rubber grommets under all of the cockpit lazarets. The grommets are 3/4" in diameter and 1/2" high, rubber with a countersunk screw hole. I wrote an email to Hunter but never received a response. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase about 45 grommets?

I am not sure what those are called, but grommets does not sound right. You could make them from faucet washers, the big ones. Use a drill to make a recess and then add stainless screws. Or try those drawers at Lowes and Home Depot that have all the special parts incl. stainless. That is where I find rubber grommets for wiring projects. Or call Jamestown Distributors(800-423-0030). I could not find those in their catalog but if they do not have them I'll bet they know who does. Good luck.

They are called bumpers!
They are actually called bumpers. They are sold at electronics stores (used for feet on the bottom of electrical cabinets), home improvement centers etc. I think that the actual height is 7/16" x 1" diameter. You can also try McMaster Carr (online catalog) and see if they have some compatible sizes there.
