Launch day was an experience. Can anyone say "Lightening Rod"?

Yes, I can. Wednesday, I stepped my mast before an approaching storm, and when it started spitting rain, I climbed into the cabin and briefly touched my radio. ZAP! Yow! Touched my keel crank, ZAP! My propeller, ZAP! I was getting 3/4 inch arcs! Blew out the anchor light bulb.
I found a roll of solder in my truck, and grounded the port shroud with it.
