The Tampa Bay Times newspaper started a 3-part special by Michael Kruze.
Part one was in the Sunday edition, one each week. They have an online edition:

A few facts in chapter 1 just amazed me in the logic & stupidity.

I believe if you leave the dock knowing your boat isn't right, the sea will find it.

Wooden Boat Magazine also had a report in a recent issue. I thought they gave a pretty balanced assessment - although the part about decision making processes was maybe overdone. Or not. I've never been in that situation. Maybe Zee could check in on that.
