Hey all you blue water sailers. If you are up to it you are invited to sail to the Isthmus and on to Santa Barbara Island with two other boats. We will be leaving from off of Palos Verdes(to watch the start of the Trans Pac race) and then sail to the Isthmus and the following day to Santa Barbara Island, weather permitting.We will be meeting at Palos Verde about 11 AM on Thursday, July 12, 2007. My rtadio handle is "novelman too" and we will also be in contact via cell phones when possible. The entire sail will last through Sunday, July 15, 2007 when we should see the next start of the Trans Pac as we return. This will be a fun sail and informal race as well as shore time spent at the Isthmus, Cat Harbor and especially Santa Barbara Island. I plan on writing a article on it with many photos to submit to the sailing magazines where I have had previous articles published. Come in your boat or possibly on one of our boats.
