Greetings, I'm planning on going to a larger jib. If you have gone to 120%, 150%, etc, please let me know how that affected your boat's performance and handling. Thanks, Rudi

I have a 150 for my 30. Man does it help in light winds. It is a real handfull over about 15 kts. I got it wrapped around the forestay during a downwind run home in 30 kts. Almost fell of the boat more than once trying to fix that. I am not sure where you sail, but in the bay area I would limit it to a 110. Maybe a 120 if you do most of your sailing outside of the summer months. Darrrell Cor30 and Cor45

Thanks for your response. I'm sailing out of Dana Point, Ca. It's rare to have 30 kts blowing here! When you say the "Bay" area, I assume that you're in San Francisco. I do sail year round, so I will most likely look for a 150 and also keep my small jib on board for strong winds. Rudi
