I have 240 with a 5hp 4 stroke which is fine for the inland lakes. I have been thinking of towing it to Myrtle Beach, SC and trying it out on Winyah Bay near Georgetown, SC and also the Intercoastal Waterway in the area.
Question is Will the 5hp work or do I need a larger motor? Also What is the largest motor I can hang on the 240 transom?
