MacGregor 26D London Ontario Canada
Someone mentioned the MacGregor 26D,S,C. It has a nice big cockpit about 6'3" long.
My Siren17 has a cockpit that is bigger! it's close to 7'!
I don't know if I would want to have 6 people on my Siren ever. But the MacGregor is up to the task. It's a nice size for Lake Michigan too. Siren17... Not so much.

I have a Catalina 320. I can easily accommodate 6 and have even had a few more than that. The stern rail seats (AKA "princess seats".) add tremendously to the room and comfort. You might want to add those to your wish list.

Thanks to all for the new leads. Will chase them all down. More info: I will not be trailering the boat. The marina will step the mast and get everything ready and put it in the slip. It will be up to me to fine tune the stays. I wont quite say " money is not a factor"., but probably want to stay under 35 ft. .-- As the GoodWife says " why are you worrying about six in the cockpit when sometimes its hard to find just one or two? ( I just need more friends to retire). I am pretty intrigued by the Colgate 26. Are they still in production?

Something to think about - depending on often your guests sail, they may not feel comfortable on the leeward side of the boat when it begins to heel. I have a 24 footer that will easily fit 6 people, and I have carried 5, but it tended to sink the rear of the boat. Either way, but my point is, if you want to carry a lot of people and have everyone comfortable, get a catamaran. Then all seats are usable.

bigger cockpit

Ive owned a pearson 26W for 15 years Its a great sailing boat with a smaller cabin and big cockpit. /but keep this in mind When I sail in a breeze over 15 kts I keep the companionway
boards in. I dont want to get pooped and have the cabin fill with water
