What I did on a previous boat wrt an inverter was to break the interconnect tabs on the 120V outlets that I wanted inverter power to and route some separate wiring to these isolated outlets. I didn't need inverter power to all outlets and didn't need shore power to all double outlets. No transfer switch etc..
FYI, that is how my B411 came from the factory. Port 120VAC receptacles are inverter supplied, starboard are shore. There is a disconnect switch as well as a handy inverter standby/on switch. Inverters have a parasitic draw in standby.

PO added a 5.5 kW genset, and I have little use for 120VAC outlets, so the inverter is going over the side and all the outlets will feed from the ship/shore AC breaker (and genset).
