Laminate over Wood in Hunter 45 Head ?

Hail, Anybody know the amterial that covers the wood in the Head of the Hunter 45's, I have a legend 45' 1987.. and Some of the plastic laminate is pealing ... I looked all over and couldn't find anything to quite match up, Formica is too thick ...... My EMAIL is mik456@concentric.net Thanks, Mike

Melamine

Mike: I believe that you have melamine in the head area. There was several posts here in the last few months on this subject. I think the real resolve was to clean the area as well as possible and cover it with formica. I do not think that melamine is a very good solution for the head area. Properly applied formica will last a long time.

Formica will do the trick...

Same solution here... I found either a Formica or Wilson Art that darn near perfectly matched the shade of white in my head on my Legend 35. It cleans and wipes dry MUCH BETTER that the melamine finish. Works for me!!!
