The Lake Ontario Hunter Owners association is planning two rendezvous for 2003, one near Toronto and one in Sodus Bay, both with the participation of Hunter Marine and the Lake Ontario dealers. More on that later. Question: if dues were levied to pay for internet services and a member burgee plus provide an "emergency fund" for shortfalls on the rendezvous, which are intended to be self-liquidating, what do you think would be a fair dues to pay, one that would not discourage membership from any Hunter owner? Anticipating your next question, no, no other club activities are planned at this juncture, no printed newsletter, etc., and certainly no salaries or gratuities. Thanks for your feedback!

Hi Bill

Hi Bill Well I thought there would be at least a couple of replies to your query. Maybe not many are aware of the site. We have had dues before aroud $25 seemed to be acceptable. I think a burgee would be great, but possibly a seperate charge for that as I believe they can get quite expensive. We don't want people not to join if they think cost is too much. Tony

Association Dues

I agree with Tony that the dues of $25 would be appropriate with the cost of the burgee an optional extra cost. Burgees could be used as prizes, gifts, incentives at rendezvous events. Could you let us know how to communicate using the association bulletin board? I don't know how to access that forum.
