I wanted to install some treads on my swim ladder to both make it more comfortable and safer to use. As most owners already know, the 1" SS ladder is not very comfortable to stand on for extended periods of time and it could be somewhat of a challenge loading the dinghy with people and supplies while at anchor. I hoped to find some sort of off the shelf solution but I wasn't impressed with the options I could find. So I made the following design.
