I'm looking for an L-shaped padlock hasp to lock my companionway slats to the sliding hatch above it but I've come up empty. Someone must have had this problem. Any ideas?

I found it with search words; "90 degree stainless steel degree hasp" I posted it for the OP in sailnet also!

I am in a similar situation. I decided to extend the surface of the slat using a 1.5" spacer in order to use a standard hasp.

It is much easier for good suggestions to be offered if there is a photo of the specific companionway as to angle , overhang, etc. to give everyone a better idea what they are looking at
