Spinnaker and one design race.

No need to crew its so laid back no one really cares who wins or lose we just out to have fun. Besides Ive only raced one race there that had enough wind to really worry about racing.

I don't have a spinnaker either so we'd be in a JAM, jib and main, class. Checking local sailing club websites they're are some non-club racing for non-members - and I'm assuming the boats are handicapped. Racing is fun, if you want it to be, especially in a mixed class. I'm working on a website now to try and get a place for Ky daysailors to get in contact with each other. For sharing information, making possible sailing get togethers, and letting know which regattas are coming up the everyone would be able to sail in. With my job I travel extensively through the western half of the state and I see a lot of sailboats sitting in peoples yards. I wonder where they sail, are they like me and sail alot by themselves or do they know others whom they can sail with. My thoughts are to provide a forum for like minded sailors to get together - much like here at hunterowners. I'll keep you posted - want to get something together before the sailing season starts.
