New (to me) boat has Harken hardware. I wrote to them on FB kind of complaining that there are no part numbers on their blocks, and attempting to replace some missing 3" single blocks I mistakenly bought more expensive than necessary ones. Original rigging uses H005's, I bought 1540's. I also asked "what is this OneDrop stuff, anyway?"

I received a prompt, detailed and courteous response. She explained the difference between the blocks, hinting I really wanted the 1540s. She also said the closest thing to OneDrop is 3 in 1, but doesn't recommend it, since OneDrip is specially formulated for marine environments; and that it is intended only for tracks with ball bearings, not blocks, which only need a rinse with soap and fresh water.

She then offered to send me a tube of OneDrop.

Yes! That's customer service!

No, I don't, we communicated via FaceBook messenger. It started by my going to their FB page and sending a message detailing my issue. That was early Friday morning. I received a reply Tuesday, around noon. And I was mistaken, it's guy, not a woman, I wasn't familiar with the name.

I recommend messaging Harken on their FB page.

I've always had superior service and counsel from Harken. They have gone above and beyond even replacing some blocks/parts that were undersized and I blew up. Great company with great people.
