I am reading alot about Kubota tractor parts working on a M-25 engine. I just paid $62 US for a thermostat. The Canadian price was $190. Seem nuts to me considering you can buy a car thermostat for less than $20. Is there an equivalent Kubota engine number for the M-25? Is a farm equipment supplier suitable for parts like fuel injectors, seals, starter motors, hoses, ...? Ed #4900

Thanks for the help

Thanks John. Already purchased the part from marinediesel.com. Myself, and maybe others would like to know your source of parts. Good Sailing Ed

Parts sources

Ed, I don' thave but on esource for parts - I usually scour the web for sources, paying particualr attention to cross-referenced part numbers, and OEM part numbers. For example, I found the manufacturer's part number for the injectors on the Kbota D850, adn bought new injectors from a diesel parts outlet in Colorado (found them on hte web) for less than the cost of rebuilding my old ones! Just keep looking, and take notes. jv
