Knots: reefing, outhaul

The boat I purchased (Cat 25) has no reefing lines attached although it does have provions for jiffy reefing.My question is what knot do I use for the leech and luff lines once I place the lines through the grommets? Just a simple figure 8?Also, my outhaul line connection to the sail is a little misconfigured as well. How should I attach this line as well? A bowline is what I'm thinking here.Thanks for all your help so far! Some day I may have an answer for someone myself!Bill

Cleats

There should be a cleat to tie on to once you pass through the tack or clew. In the back there could be a cheek block to run forward to a cleat. You may also have a tack hook to attach to in the front. The outhaul would probably have a place to attach a shackle or wire line to, then run back to a block and back forword to a cleat. Just a guess, I could be totally wrong.
