Knotmeter

I have a Horizon Speed knotmeter on my c27 . This unit operated perfectly for several years and then became erratic, run some days not others. Replaced impeller and axle to no avail. Sent unit back to factory and was told "nothing wrong". Replaced exactly in accordance with installation instructions and still some days it runs perfectly and others not at all. when sending unit is removed it is always clean and operates correctly. Keith---The hidden secret.....You must master reset to factory settings......HOLD LOG BUTTON DOWN WHILE TURNING UNIT ON...Things should then reset themselves and you should be in good order...(This is something that they do not tell you in the manual).....Had the same problem and managed to get the info from one of the techies at the factory...Good luck...DAVE
