Knotmeter doesn'T work (Standard Horizon 45). Reads 0.0. Water temp works. How do I troubleshoot to find where the problem lies? I already dove under and the wheel spins freely.
...West Marine will order you a new transducer and if that does not solve the problem, they will allow you to return it. Just went through the same thing. Since you are getting a readout on the head, that is probably ok. Good Luck.
the paddle wheel contains magnets that can rust and expand the plastic they are embedded in and fall out. i have replaced 2 paddlewheels and now i remove the sender when the boat is not being used
you don't have to dive under the boat. My impeller is in front of the front bed. Mine stopped working too. The dealer said clean under the wheel with a q-tip as the magnets can get covered with growth. It worked.
