When we were looking to by our boat in '05, I downloaded any pictures I could find of 26's. These should look familiar.

Rick, Glad to see u R still monitoring the situation!.... Great pictures.....Yep, that is my baby, and my slip.....Her restoration (or distruction) continues....
Lynn and I installed hardware today. We installed the pulpit, and stanchions. The trouble we ran into was probably typical of newbies. First mistake is that i put the 4200 on all the stanchions plus the pulpit thinking that I was saving time. But the install was much harder and took much longer than i anticipated and by the time we were halfway through most of the caulk had set up. We pressed on. we will see what leaks and what does not. One other thing: on the oday 26, when installing the aft stanchions, you MUST turn the bolt. You cannot turn the nut from the inside because you cannot get a wrench on it with enough room to turn the nut. You have to tighten from the deck by turning the bolt, thus breaking the seal of the caulk collar I put on the bolt. Will It leak? Probably. If so. I wll cut out the part of the inner overhead liner that blocks me from being able to get to the nut, and also use a S.S. backing plate instead of the one inch washers I used as backing.

Otherwise what a great day. Did you guys notice the full moon. Our little city of rome Ga has a free concerth the first friday of every month in the spring summer and fall on the banks of the junction of the ostanala and etowah river in downtown rome. (called cotton block park). The band was peachtree station. What a great beautiful time. Perfect weather, great music, clear sky, full moon. Wonderful wife, happy people. Not many days can top this one.

First picture is moon set from my deck Friday morning. When I read your post Saturday morning I went out and took the second.

Great picture, I assume with sons.

The next two pictures are of my younger son when he rode his bike at Fenway Park. He was one of 30 riders who represented the "living proof" riders. He said it was absolutely awesome when they were introduced to a standing O from 38,000 Red Sox fans.

The last picture is of the whole group of "living proof" riders taken in front of the Cape Cod Canal in Bourne after the first 110 miles.

Dude, we are so blessed. Those are incredible pix. I am proud of your son. And i know you are. If there is one thing I did right, it was to raise my kids with sacrificial love, and to settle in North Georgia (land of the cherokee). But I have to admit, the view from my backyard is nothing compared to yours.
God Bless.
