Sean is on the cusp of reaching the weight limit for his current life vest, a Mustang Li'l Legends. It's time to begin looking for a new one for him. We planned on just getting the next level Mustang (50-90lb) but I figured I would ask around to see what everyone else is using.

Sean is a skinny, close to 50lb, athletic 7yo. We want something comfortable that he will continue to wear without too much of an argument. He doesn't really complain about the one he has now but it is kind of bulky and I'm sure as he gets older and more active while underway, it may become cumbersome for him. We usually stay near coastal, up to about 15-20mi off shore maximum.

Any suggestions??

Our kids use these...

They're designed as dinghy sailing and paddling jackets so they have a large range of motion in the arms because the bulk of floatation is on the chest and back and not up around the collar bone.
In fact, one of our kids is growing out of his and I was going to put it up on ebay. It's good to 90 pounds. Interested? It's still in perfect condition.
