If my rudder wasn’t fixed I could easily beach my Ranger 16. thinking of making a kick up rudder. Has anyone done this before and how? Materials used? Pictures? Diagrams? Thanks

since I built a couple for my V22. The first was made of inexpensive materials and worked well but couldn't hold up. I later made one of mahogany and stainless steel. I'm not familiar with the rudder system on your boat, but it was relatively simple to do once the nerve-racking part of deciding just where and how to use my saw. I'll take some pictures, if you need. By the way, I'm going to do it again for my 26S. I'll make a few variations to the stock style to improve handling, but will work within the parameters of minor adjustments to stock.
