I,m heading for Key West in May. My boat is a 22', 1982 hunter. I would like to hear from anyone who has been there about Marinas, moorings,anchorages or where to stay. Will look for your reply. We are going to take a stright shot from Sarasota to Key West, 156 miles. Hope to make it in about 35 hrs.or so, depending on the wind and weather.

Key West Marinas

Hey Henry, There are several Marinaslocated around what is known as the Key West Bight or Historical waterfrontarea. The Galleon is one. This area is just a few blocks from Duval Streetand would be a great location if you are walking. Are you planning to stay on the boat? If so would definentlyrecommend the Bight. Many watering holes, eatteries and such, pool, showersetc. Try the Galleon, A & B Marina,Conch Harbor Marina, or Historic SeaportMarina. Don't miss the 10000 Islands area

As you sail down, it would be a shame to miss some of the neat scenary and little nooks down Indian Key way. In a boat like yours you could also visit the three capes. Best Wishes
