Robbie's at Islamorada, you can hand feed tarpon. From Key West you can take a seaplane to Ft. Jefferson in the Dry Tortuga's. It is a National Park, so they have camp sites there by reservation.

I had that in mind, but my thought is that I would prefer to make that trip for the first time on my own sailboat when the time comes.
That could be a BIG commitment if sailing from Key West. It’s about 70 n.mi. Wind usually from the east. If blowing for long near 15 kt, the return trip would be long and probably very wet. There are also seaplanes to get out there from KW. Good way to reconnoiter.

Well, Sue and I have been dealing with COVID this week. It has been a very dreary time and we are just starting to get our energy back. We don't want to go thru this again. Thanks for the suggestions! I'm thinking it would be fun to rent a scooter or 2. I'm not sure yet if Sue would want to drive one, ride with me, or neither. She was afraid to get on one in Vietnam, but the streets were crazy there. She may be more comfortable with a bike.
