Kenyon Alcohol stove burner questions

Has anyone fixed/rebuilt their Kenyon presurised alcohol stove burners? I have one that is misbehaving
(will not settle down and burn clean (after warm up)).

I am guessing it just need to be disassembled and cleaned up but....

Any pointers on this????

Holland Marine in Toronto used to have a great description in their catalogue. I don't know if they still do but worth tracking the down. Incredibly knowledgeable.

I just rebuilt mine a few weeks ago. I got some parts NOS on ebay and some from this web site. It was not too hard to do. I had no instructions. Be careful and don't force anything apart. Beeswax and a MAPP torch freed up the stem that was stuck and the flame adjustment plate that must turn freely. It works good now and does not leak alcohol every where!

The other part that was hard to remove was a small brass screen that is rolled up into a filter. I used a small drill bit and a small bent tip sewing pin to get it out.
