Have you checked out the Origo 4100!

Kevin: Have you checked out the Origo 4100. It is slightly larger than the Origo 4000. Do you know how big the cutout is for the Keyon 206? The Origo cut out is 20 5/8" x 12 13/16". These stoves work like a champ.

Force 10 propane

The first thing we took out of Aloha 1 when we started upgrading, was the Kenyon alcohol stove. We replaced it with a 2 burner stovetop from Force 10, model 60120. It required very minor modifications to drop right into the gimbal, and works perfectly. We also added a Force 10 Cozy Cabin heater and a Barbecue. We didn't want to have a propane tank hanging off the stern rail, so we had a separate, vented locker created in the existing stern locker. This system works well, although we had to use a horizontally mounted tank, a slightly more expensive route.

I did the exact same upgrade as Art! Except, I built a bracket out of stainless aand hang my 20# propane tank off the stern below the hull joint. The bracket cost about $20.00 in scrap stainless and I don't need a vent or fume alarm. Pat McCartin 1979 H30 "Therapy" Lake Lanier, GA

I went with propane too, except I went from kerosene on this boat. Found a used propane locker and secured it to the stern rail. Most convenient system of all the types I have had.

Propane Lockers

We built propane lockers out of 8 inch PVC couplings and caps...Had a local welder fabricate a bracket for hem...had them on the rail prior to the arch installation, and on the arch now...Pictures available..Email me for details... 73 Ed S/V MYST bt
