If you have gone throught Kent Narrows in the last month or so, please comment on depth, marker placement, and any issues. I know it's been dredged on the north side, and any recent real world experience would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Did it about a week ago. Went thru just before hi slack northbound. Least depth I saw was high sixes.
Altho it was supposed to be near slack, the current at the bridge was running very fast. The bridge is very very slow so I mistimed it and pucker factor was off the chart. Fun ride!

We transited north bound on July 2nd. It was almost low tide, but the wind had been out of the south for several days. We saw a low of 6' 9" in the north channel.

Knapps hasn't had accurate charted depths in 15 years, maybe more. Went aground mid-channel west side 4 years ago and that was the final straw (that and the guy who wanted $20 to tie to his dock for 20 minutes). The sail around Blackwalnut Pt. is so much more relaxing.
