Hi Ken

I have downloaded your article on your trip with your Vega Lyra. Do you
mind if I add it to the Vega CDROM? I would also like to serialise it in
the Vega Newsletter. Let me know if you dont mind. I do not have your email
address so trying to contact you via the yahoo group

Kind Regards

Hi Steve,

I received my copy of Sailing the Oceans yesterday. Thank you for turning me on to this. I started reading it this morning on the train to San Francisco. It's making me think again about doing a cruise to Europe through the canal.

Thanks again,

Hi Ken

I have tried to contact you on your reply address but no joy, my messages keep
being returned.

I can only reccomend that every Vega owner has a read of the article (21
pages)
as it is well worth the time and effort to download. Well done Ken a fine
piece
of writing. I am thinking of compiling an anthology of Vega stories and I will
be meeting Anne Miller tonight at the VAGB AGM so will approach her about
adding her fine book "Out of the Blue" that is now, sadly, out of print.

Regards to all

Hi Ken,

I've been out of touch for the last two weeks (Laura brought home "The Killer Flu from Indianapolis" when she returned from her last business trip). I'd like your permission to publish your account in the American Vega Newsletter, "Fair Winds", and add it to our CD as well.

So will you be sailing your new Vega to Pender Island this year?

A hui ho!

I'm sorry, Ken. There are two, I believe, on there and at least
three others that sort of slipped my mind. I'll try to get them on
there this evening. In addition, if the folks who are re-publishing
it will contact me directly, I'll zip everything up and forward.

Bringing Lyra Home, Ken Preston's story of his voyage from Puerto Vallarta
to San Diego, has been updated on the web to include a number of new
pictures. (The text is unchanged.) The URL has changed slightly. It's
now at the URL that Ken originally posted, rather than at the URL where it
actually was located. You can find it at http://spof.org/lyra

Again, I apologize to Ken for my neglect in getting the rest of it up.
