Need help having a hard time getting the shaft out and drum off,nothing ever is easy with boats for sure.

I think we need more details: are you referring to a drive (propeller) shaft or a furling drum?
Pictures also help.

Sorry Ken 13559 has posted on this forum for replacing the bearing and wiper seal for Sprint Atlantic windlass.
I am having trouble taking mine a part and need help and he posted doing this a while back so hoping he will help.
I want to remove Drum and already removed the clutch nut.
