Do you need to replace the bolts? or just to replace the nuts on the bolts as many have done. Others like myself have merely added lag bolts spaced between the keel bolts. But seriously, just call Catalina, they will fax you any fix that you may require. That's one of the big pluses of owning a catalina. Peter

KEEL BOLT REPLACEMENT

PETER THANKS FOR THE ANSWER.ALSO THE BOLTS ARE RUSTING OUT AND FALLING OFF OF THE 1971 27'CATALINA.THERE IS A CRACK RUNNING ALL THE WAY AROUND THE KEEL,ABOUT 4 T0 5 INCHES FROM THE BOTTOM OF BOAT.

Bolts and more

You may actually have a larger problem than just the bolts though. The bilge sole may have gotten a lot of water and rotted out. Changing the bolts or adding lags won't help that. Of course, Catalina can fax you a fix for that, but trust me, you want to talk to them, they will help you. Peter
