For those of you who inquired about the Keesler AFB Marina, here's the latest pics. The contractor is making steady progress and the base is on schedule to have the marina open ~March 07. Most of the floating docks are in and much of the pier work is done. I think they still have some planking to do near shore and, as you can see, roor work on the gazebos. Slip rates are still posted at $2.50/ft. I'm trying to talk them into making a dry bearthing area for trailor sailors. If not, we might try to get a bearth for the summer. OBTW, our boat has a name (and it'll be on the boat just as soon as it warms up enough to put it on)....Acadia. Acadia National Park is my wife's favorite spot and a future crusing destination, if all goes well. Deucer
