I made a cover for my tiller pilot today. It is made of sunbrella and also a small piece of plastic window material.

This should keep the tiller pilot dry in the weather and it probably will be a good thing to store it in to keep the dust off of it. It may not be pretty but it should work!

What type of machine did you use? Was it a Sailrite unit?

I have a VERY old Kemore. It is when they made everything with metal. It is a refurbished unit that I bought for around $100 off of ebay a few years back, about 6 years ago.

That machine has done a lot of canvas work. I would love to have a sailrite machine but that is an expense I can't do right now.
