Joan and I are heading out for about two weeks this Thursday June 10. Plan to sail down the Potomac and head north on the Chesapeake Bay. Not really sure where but keep your eyes open for us and say Hi. Will be willing to share RUM to anyone who drops anchor.....
For sure we will be in Solomons for a couple of days and depending on wind might go all the way to Annapolis.

Fair Winds to all

Hey Nick

You beat me to the pictures!! I can't find the cable to offload the pictures from my camera to post. We had a great visit with you, Rowan talked 100 miles an hour all the way home. Many Many thanks to Mary Ellen for keeping Rowan busy while we talked... Will get the pictures up as soon as I can find a cable. I'm missing the mico-card in the camera. Don't know where it is...

Jim: Let me know if you are in the Herring Bay and or the West-South-Rhode Rivers area on your way north. Would love to raft and help you reduce all that unnecessary rum ballast....

Darn Jim....I am going to miss you on this one as I have already been out for two cruises and no long cruises in the near future. I hope you have a great one.

John and Honey are in Indian Creek tonight on Finally II. I spoke with them and they had a rough crossing from Onancock. I am not sure where they are heading next or how long they will be out.

Maybe in September we all can get together again. I was out with Slo Poke, Ragtime, Chiquita, and Southern Cross two weekends ago and we had a good time (we didn't get into the rum though).

Fair winds and calm seas!

Jim,

Have a fun trip. Solomans is a great place to sail to and visit. When we stop there we usualy stay at Zahnisers because the CD Cafe is only a three block walk. Its the best food in town.

We stopped in your marina on Sunday the 6th for a much needed cooling off during our sail up the Potomac. Sorry you were not there. We deepened one of the slips during low tide. Your recommendation on Port Tobacco River for an anchorage was very good. We will be leaving Washington on the 25th. Don't yet have an itinerary. Possibly we can meet up on our sail down the river?

Dave,
Were you in Port Tobacco on May 29th. I remember a boat anchored over there. we had several boats on the west side making like party animals.

currently sitting in Solomons at Zahnisers, going to dinner with friends at Dry Dock....
