When did Hunter change the 23 or 24 foot trailer-able boats from water ballast to stubby keel ?

When the 240 was dropped, out came the new 25 and I am assuming that is the boat you are referring to. That was a short lived production when they then came out with the water ballast Hunter 27 Edge.

I was thinking of searching for the Hunter 25. What years were they made?

2005 to about 2010 I think. Mine is a 2006.

One thing to remember about this boat when coming into the dock, if the wind is off the beam, turn into the wind for course control like airplanes when they do the same which is called crabbing or pointing into the wind. Just before coming into the dock, then turn the bow of the boat intoward the dock.
