Building cradle for Oday 25. What is the width of keel bottom at widest point. What would the length be of keel at bottom. What is the height of keel to hull at longest point.
david just read your post, its 2000 hours and dark but i can get thos dims and anything else you need pertaining to od25cb. it is sitting in my driveway on a trailer. i can get you a pic if you need? patrick i post again in the morning
10". The length i f I recall is about 8'The height varies. The keel does have a height but you must take into account the hull shape for supports. I would determine a width that you want to place the supports and then measure. I would also make the supports adjustable. So that after the boat is in the cradle it can be adjusted if there is a support that causes a deflection or is too loose. It would be best to support the boat at the bulkheads. The one behind the gally and the one at either the shrouds or the vee berth. They are stronger areas that won't stove in like areas between the bulkheads. It is important to adjust the supports for minimum support if it is resting on the centerboard housing.Hopefully Patrick can give you some good measurements.r.w.landau
Hi,Patrick what is the width of your trailer adjustable side supports from each other inside and outside measurement and front to back from each other on trailer? How many sets of adjustable side supports do you have under each side for your bunks? So that after my boat is on the trailer it can be adjusted to the heightthe bunks need to be.Thanks,Ira Watkins
