Keel: retractable or not?

I just inherited a 1974 Hunter 25 and am trying to find a good home for it as I do not sail. A potential new owner asked me whether this boat has a retractable keel and I didn't know what to tell him. Does anyone know the answer (or how I could determine that without going snorkling)? Anatole, I have a 74 hunter 25 and it has a fixed keel with 3'11" draft. I believe this is the full draft design and there was another with a shoal keel. As far as I know both are fixed. I would be interested in other responses just out of curiousity. It's ashamed you arent' interested in sailing because inheriting a boat is something alot of people dream about. According to the brochures for this model, all keels are fixed.

Thanks, John & Chris. Seems like the sailing community consists of a very friendly, helpful bunch. Makes me wonder if maybe I should consider learning the craft ... if only I could find the time! --Anatole
