Keel Making Noise at Mooring

We recently put our 1995 23.5 in the water for the season. This is our first year at a mooring. The Keel bangs around alot when the lake gets choppy, the banging is louder when the keel is up. Is this normal? Any advice/suggestions would be great.

I found it to be normal

I had the same feeling the first season I slept on my 23.5 But when the boat was hauled for boat painting I asked the dealer about it and they said it was normal kneel swing for the boat......... It does create a lot of noise.

Mine does it too!

I've been telling the children its a giant alligator that will climb in the boat and eat them if they don't settle down and go to sleep so I can get some rest.

But down here it just may be an alligator. We see them all of the time.

Well there are no aligators here in Michigan, I guess it could be a giant zebra mussel but I doubt it. Thanks alot it is good to know nothing is broke or wearing out.
