Not exactly, but on a boat I had I ran a structural member from the hull behind the keel to the skeg at the bottom of the rudder. Essentially doing what you are proposing, but solid, not a line. If you have a skeg hung rudder, it would be easy enough to do. Without, hard to envision how you'd do it.Has anyone had experience with running a low line, keel to rudder on a sailboat to keep lobster lines from tangling the prop?
